Privacy policy
outlandertour.com is an independent affiliate site that lists curated Outlander day tours in Scotland. This page explains what data the site handles, what third parties are involved, and what rights you have under GDPR and CCPA.
What we log
outlandertour.com is hosted on Netlify. Netlify's standard edge logs capture your IP address, user agent and requested URL for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained on Netlify's infrastructure under Netlify's own privacy terms. We do not run our own analytics, tracking pixels, or session-recording tools.
Viator third-party cookies
Each tour card on this page embeds a Viator booking widget. When the widget loads, Viator (TripAdvisor LLC) may set first-party cookies on its own domain to support booking flows, attribution of affiliate commissions and fraud prevention. If you proceed to book on Viator, Viator's own privacy policy governs all data you provide there. outlandertour.com never sees your payment details or booking information.
No email collection
outlandertour.com does not operate a newsletter, contact form or email-signup capture. We do not collect, store or process email addresses on this domain. If you email us at the address below, your message is processed by standard email infrastructure and retained only as long as needed to respond.
Cookies set by this site
outlandertour.com itself does not set first-party tracking cookies. The only cookies you may encounter from this visit are third-party cookies set by Viator's widget script once it loads. Your browser's standard cookie controls apply, and you can block third-party cookies at any time in your browser settings without breaking page content.
Your GDPR rights (EU / UK)
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing of any personal data a controller holds about you. Because outlandertour.com does not collect identifiable personal data beyond standard server logs, there is usually nothing to access or delete on our side. For Viator-held data, contact Viator directly using their privacy channels.
Your CCPA rights (California)
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of sale. outlandertour.com does not sell personal information. We do not collect personal information beyond the server logs described above.
